Expensive? A bit. But when you factor in the incredible personal service and the hand-picked selection of great looks from top designer names, the price really doesn’t seem to be a factor. Located on trendy and fun Filmore Street, this is one boutique you need to put on your shopping list.

Dema gets style. That’s what you’ll hear from their loyal shoppers. And it’s what you’ll be saying after you check out the great selections packed into this little Mission District boutique.
The looks are vintage, circa Mad Men, but the clothing is all new. Find something you absolutely LOVE, but it’s a bit too short, too long, too tight or too loose? Let them work their magic, and you’ll have one custom made to fit in a week or two. That alone is a reason to pay Dema a visit!

Even if you’re planning a visit to the store, do take a few minutes to visit their website. Use your mouse to color in the opening image…you’ll feel like a kid again!

These are cute clothes…I know “cute” isn’t a popular word in the fashion world, but it works. You’ll feel great wearing these clothes. And in a world of putting “style before comfort”, it’s refreshing to find a boutique that doesn’t make you choose between the two.

Yes this is a chain store. But when a store like Jos. A Bank offers great men’s wear, consistently excellent prices and some of the best customer service in the business, they deserve a nod no matter where they’re located. And hey, any store that can fit a suit perfectly for my 6’5″ husband and another for my super-skinny son earns an A+ in my book!

I love the dresses that have more romantic and less exotic in their design … soft fabrics, feminine looks. Check them out on Union Street near Filmore.
