Is there anyone on the planet who isn’t’ a fan of the good old-fashioned cookie?

I’m not talking about the little program that tracks your movements and keystrokes on the Internet. I’m talking about the sweet treats that usually get dunked in milk and make everyone smile one they take their first bite. The popularity of this snack food/dessert treat has birthed literally dozens of different flavors and taste concoctions. Finding the best of the best seems like a tall order, but I was willing to step up to the cookie jar. Without further ado, the top 10 favorite cookies of all time.


10. Oatmeal

Oatmeal cookies make the list of top 10 favorite cookies because of their simplicity. You aren’t going to be able to find many people anywhere in America, let alone the world who haven’t had a bit of a great oatmeal cookie. The best part about this kind is that you can make them hard or soft, and can fill them with raisins or other fruit to spice them up. Make sure you always have rolled oats on hand for baking, in case the urge to make a batch strikes late at night.

Sugar cookies are another variety of the cookie family that is so popular because it is so simple to make and so easily found. Is there anyone who wouldn’t have these treats on this list?

We’re coming down to the final three and I’m willing to bet you thought we forgot about this one. Basically a sugar cookie with some cinnamon to give it a sweet tang, these have been around for quite a while and fall quite easily into the “simple” category of cookies.

The cookie is great plain but the company has recently been experimenting with making the treat that much better with ideas like covering them in chocolate.
