Start to add trendy fashions to your wardrobe with maxis, jumpsuits, and rompers

If you’ve looked in your closet and feel uninspired perhaps this is the right time to figure out how to add trendy fashions to your wardrobe. You don’t have to do a total clothing overhaul, just make some decisions about the right pieces to inject some fresh women’s fashion “pow” into your look.

Start with a maxi dress, if you haven’t already. Pick up the perfect pair of sandals and some cool-looking accessories to complement the dress. Throw on a shrug or pashmina for those cool summer nights. It’s a great look.

The maxi dress made a resounding comeback several years ago. Those of us who were around in the 1970s already knew what a wonderful style it was and heartily applauded when it returned.

Since its re-introduction, its popularity has not waned. It is a wonderful fashion trend because it’s so easy to wear, looks good in all sizes, is comfortable, and is versatile. It can be worn casually or on a night out on the town.

This dress is perfect for women who don’t want to show off unshaven legs or legs they think are unattractive. Additionally, the empire waistline, which most feature, helps conceal belly bulge. It’s an extremely flattering and pretty look.

The Jumpsuit

Another new look for women’s fashion is the trendy jumpsuit, featuring full-length pants, that may be full or narrow. The definition of a jumpsuit is a one-piece utilitarian garment worn by skydivers and others in the workforce but the term is now used to describe any one-piece garment featuring legs and sleeves. In the case of women’s styles, the jumpsuit may be sleeveless and feature open or cut-out backs. It’s a very glamorous look.

You can wear a jumpsuit to work. Think how easy a one-piece ensemble will make your get-ready time in the morning. Slip into it and you’re done. No mixing or matching is required.

When wearing a jumpsuit to work, make sure it’s not too tight and body-hugging. Save that look for the evening or weekend. Put a jacket or blazer on over the jumpsuit if you desire. Add a bold belt.

The Romper

The shorter version of a jumpsuit is called a romper. It, too, is one-piece but shows off a lot of legs. It’s the perfect outfit for warm weather. Wear it with some kick-butt sandals.

Your Shoes

Make a statement with sandals. Shoe designers are offering bulky yet brightly distinctive sandals this season. Geometric shapes, square heels, with or without wedges, platform heels, high heels, color-blocked, and square shapes are all the rage.

Elegant sandals are created via the use of thin straps and minimalistic patterns, which are in great demand this year.

Tribal Designs

Tribal designs are much sought after. Many spot tribal tattoos and perhaps that is how the design evolved into women’s fashion. They’re beautiful, whether on the body or in the material.

This pattern consists of curves and strong and audacious lines. The design can be simple or intricate and is usually very colorful. Maxi dresses often feature complex tribal patterns.

There are multiple colors in the design, which means you can wear various accessories in an assortment of colors with the pattern, which changes up the look every time you wear the dress.

The top ten trendiest fashion colors (according to Pantone) for 2021 include:

#1 Dazzling Blue, which is close to the navy but not quite the same.

#2 Violet Tulip, which is very flattering and, of course, a member of the purple family but on the soft rather than dark side. Do some believe it is reminiscent of the fashions worn in Downton Abbey.

#3 Radiant Orchid, another purple shade, which the First Lady is reportedly fond of.

#4 Celosia Orange. Its fruit implication appeals to consumers.

#5 Freesia, a dark, bold, golden yellow.

#6 Cayenne (like the pepper) is a muted yet high-energy shade of red.

#7 Placid Blue, the opposite of Dazzling Blue. It’s the color of the sky.

#8 Paloma, a soft, exquisite gray.

#9 Sand, a burnished beige.

#10 Hemlock, an unusual shade of green.

Incorporate some or all of these fashionable colors into this year’s wardrobe.
